Who looks for a JoinBrands alternative
JoinBrands publishes scale and low entry cost: a pool it counts in the millions, a free plan, and content listed from low starting prices, with a platform fee added to each creator payment. Those same published traits are why some buyers want a different shape.
- Teams that would rather review ten matched creators than search a pool of millions.
- Brands that want creator pay to carry no platform fee.
- Brands that want their own contract signed, and creators onboarded and kept on a schedule.
- Buyers who do not sell on TikTok Shop or Amazon and do not need the products built for those channels.
6 alternatives to JoinBrands
Scouty is first because this is its site. The rest are in no order of merit, and each note says who the option suits.
1. Scouty
An AI agent that sources, signs, onboards and manages UGC creators from one chat.
Best for teams that want the choosing narrowed and the follow-up done. Scouty matches creators from a vetted Creators Club, searches TikTok and Instagram with outreach, and brings you a set to approve, then handles the contract step, onboarding and reminders. You pay each creator directly. It is not built for TikTok Shop affiliate programs.
2. Collabstr
An open influencer and UGC marketplace where brands buy fixed price packages from creator profiles, with escrow.
Best for buyers who want to stay in an open marketplace and prefer fixed price packages on creator profiles. Collabstr has a free plan with escrow, shows package prices before you ask, and covers influencer hires as well as UGC.
3. Twirl
A UGC production service with its own platform and creator network, sold as pay as you go video credits or monthly managed plans.
Best for brands that want a narrower network and more done on each video. Twirl states a creator network in the thousands, returns a curated list for each brief, and sells edited videos by the credit with a project manager on every project. It says it adds no platform fees to that price.
4. Insense
A subscription creator marketplace with outreach beyond the marketplace, automated contracts and ad integrations.
Best for teams ready to commit to a subscription for more workflow: a marketplace, email outreach to Instagram and TikTok creators beyond it, automated contracts and ad account connections under one login, with creator payments processed in the platform.
5. Influee
A subscription UGC marketplace with creators in 30+ countries, escrow payments and its own MCP agent.
Best for brands that need creators outside the United States. Influee publishes a pool across more than thirty countries, most in Europe, with a monthly subscription, escrow, and an MCP agent that can create campaigns and message creators from Claude or ChatGPT.
6. SideShift
A subscription creator hiring platform built on job listings, with contracts, usage rights, payouts and 1099s.
Best for brands that want applicants to come to a job listing and want payouts and tax forms handled. SideShift keeps creator pay separate from its subscription and builds contracts, usage rights and reminders into the product.

How to choose among them
- Pool size. A larger pool means more choice and more screening. Decide how much choosing you want to do before you compare numbers.
- The fee line. Check whether a fee is added to creator pay, taken from it, built into a video price, or absent. Each vendor's wording is in the table below.
- Your channel. If TikTok Shop or Amazon is your channel, stay with products built for it. If it is organic TikTok and Instagram or paid social, more options open up.
- After the hire. List what you need once a creator says yes: a contract of your own, onboarding, a schedule, reminders, reporting.
When staying with JoinBrands is the right call
If you sell on TikTok Shop or Amazon, want affiliate creators and shoppable videos in volume, and are comfortable choosing from a very large pool, JoinBrands publishes products aimed squarely at that, and its free plan keeps the cost of trying low. Of the vendors we have read, it is the one that describes TikTok Shop outreach in detail.
